Ecodes are European glass lens with Halogen bulbs. You can find them on Ebay or order the after market from someone like FCP. They have a what I call check mark pattern and put your light out in front of you instead of all over the place.

They will blow away any big plastic lens you have ever seen on any 240 from 1986 on.

Mine just like to eat Silver Stars, which I never had a problem with with the big plastic lens.
