fuel pump replacement 700 1991

Does anyone know of a way to replace the pre-pump (in-tank fuel pump) on a 1991 740 2.3 liter non-turbo without removing the fuel tank, or does anyone know of step by step instuctions to replace the in-tank fuel pump?
