As Ken said, first suspect is the slider pin setup. BUT if you find the sliders are already clean and properly lubed, I'd consider the possibility that the flexible brake hose is deteriorating internally and acting like a check valve. If they're the original hoses, it's probably time to replace them preventively anyway.
