Exhaust System 140-160

Sir-
I must attest that you should be happy with your new exhaust system. I have pushed hard to get exactly what you have installed. I have a "turbo" muffler installed not far after the header, then a resonator after that muffler, and then the large factory "gaz-inta/gaz-outa" (New Jersey Slang)- large cylinder muffler. This is on my 71 142e.
It sounds like my father's oldsmobile, and I like it!
I am tired of loud mufflers. I am only 36 years old, but those Honda Civic's with bazooka pipes are absurd.
Somewhere, there must be thousands of new, barely used Honda Civic mufflers available, as these have been chopped off by the younger 'tuner' crowds.
In short, be happy with your humble and quiet 142.
Listen to the B20 operating, not blasting car alarms....

jeremy
