I am not really looking for an Amazon cover plate, since I have already found one that matches the color of my dash for a cost of only $20.
Now back to your original question. I always assumed that the 444 and 544 were the same, except that the 444 had a de-tuned engine, just like the 121 vs 122. It seems that I may be wrong.
The plates that I saw were for a 544, but I assumed that they would work for a 444. Here are the ones:
