What planetman said + if you are having a problem with a switch like this, pull out the multimeter and see what Key position connects which spade terminals. With a little deductive reasoning you can work out which wires go where. i.e one wire terminal only has continuity to the "+" in the start engine position....we know that one goes to the starter etc...
