Help with new radio, please - 940 ('94)

Hi Guys ..
Long time since a post. Hope that is OK.

311K now on the 94, and time for a new radio - Alpine w/CD.

Using Crutchfield's harness. All pretty straightforward with one plug to the amp plug (speakers) and then the main radio one with power and such.

Problem. Radio has no power. Using list from FAQ's, pin 7 & 11 from radio plug (car side) are hot ...but not pin 9 ...which is listed as +12v constant from the battery.

Is there a fuse I am missing that might be blown? Fuse 14 is referenced to pin 11, and is good. I can't find any reference for pin 9.

Or is 9 even supposed to be hot ?? tried with ignition on and and off.
