Poorgie,
You have to re-set the radio.

The car key has to be on for about two hours in position I
with the radio on. You can just have it sitting in your
driveway, the car does not have to be running.

The radio will be ready for the CODE then.

I also thought that cutting the power would do the job,
but it does not.
