Shifting M40 444-544

There's no logical reason why you've experienced those symptoms. Although there has been occasion when my car is pointing down a steep slope and it will grind a bit when putting into reverse.

Absolutely start with a clutch adjustment.

But don't be surprised if that may turn into a clucth replacement.

Hopefully you will not find that the clutch is fine but your transmission layshaft bearings have bit the dust.
