"If your computer screen feels like it is continously refreshes the page, robbing the cpu of cycles and making it hard to type, here is the answer from Jarrod:

Go to PREFERENCES on the right side of the screen and click the bottom box that turns off Facebook, Twitter, etc. That worked for me.
