How does the pedal feel? Dead? Or does it feel like you are actually disengaging the clutch?

My guess is that something is wrong in there, a broken clutch spring or the release fork broke between it's pivot and the throw-out bearing. Could be bad throw out bearing too.

Have you tried adjusting the clutch?
