I don't know the towing capacity of the 740, but I would change your differential fluid probably with a synthetic or Lucus oil. I would also definitely add a transmission cooler. I have read comments in this forum that using synthetic transmission oil lowers the transmission temperature as well. Plan on running the mountains at night. Much cooler with less traffic encouraging you to run faster than you should on the hills.
