replace it 200 1989

Sounds like you do got the symptoms for a replacement.

If you are planning to keep your brick a while, I will offer you a bit of unsolicited advice--Do replace it with a genuine “Volvo replacement blower“. I don’t know who actually makes them for Volvo now, but DO NOT get a cheap after market blower. For a labor intensive project such as this, whether you do it your self or pay someone, you will do well to spend the few extra $$$ for a good one!! I know from experience. If you put in the “Volvo one” most likely you will never need to replace it again-well, unless you go for a million miles maybe. My 2 cents.
