one thing i forgot:
i got a new expansion tank cap for the swap. it is green. the one that was on the car was grey and i heard air coming out of it slowly in the old engine when it was hot. the cooling system seems to be under a lot more pressure than i think is normal because when the engine is cool coolant will still spurt out when i open it to check the level.
