New Temp sensor reads wrong temp 200 1984

I put a new Napa temp sensor into my car. The gauge reads "hot" when it's just at normal temp - I checked with an IR temp gun.

What resistance is normal? 80-90ohms? Or 60-70? I think it's the wrong resistance range.
