Tail lights Question, my answer 200

My 245 is a 1990, but both housings have bulbs in them. I wonder if the right side housing would have a blanking plug or something like that to indicate that it is inoperative. I'm guessing a conneced wire would indicate that it should be functional.

By "splitter," I mean the front air-dam or body panel that fits just under the front bumper where the fog lamps would be located. I have no idea how many parts are missing on my car. The front fenders make it look like there could have been a steel panel in place even though there would be a front plastic splitter/airdam in front of it.

thanks for the wiring diagram reference. I have a Bentley manual and it does have some wiring diagram sketches in it which are labeled in Swedish. They've come in handy, but I'm guessing the ones you reference are probably more complete and easier to understand.

Well, I'll have to make this into a project and start tracing wires to see where I'm not getting current.

Thanks again for the help, Bob!
Steve
