I do have a Hayne's manual. The car idles decent now when it's at the right RPM's, a little rough maybe but not much. It has good smooth power etc. it just seems like something is getting stuck in certain situations causing the idle to get stuck high. In other words I don't think it's just a setting or adjustment. Maybe the dashpots? Although I did take these off and clean them, filled with type f auto fluid.
