Check Engine Light 900

Dear robertmfranklin,

Hope you're well. The state of the seats - motor(s) working, heater(s) working, etc. - will not affect the "Check Engine Light".

The "check engine light" comes on due to malfunctions/failures in engine/ignition-specific items, e.g., oxygen sensor, air-mass meter, ignition control unit (ICU), engine control unit (ECU), etc.

You'll need to read the On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) codes, to get an idea of the problem.

Please post your findings.

Hope this helps.

Yours faithfully,

Spook
