Yeah, um, are you sure you have the right sensor. The only thing the TPS does is switch the ECU's idle mode on. It has two positions, open or closed. None of your symptoms point to a bad TPS.

To test it, with the engine off in a quiet place, turn the throttle spool. The moment it moves off the stop you should hear a click. You can then test continuity but these things almost never fail.
