cold start injector? 700 1990

the first thing i checked when car would not start, was timing belt, and timing marks. i replaced timing belt about 500 miles ago, and i had not retorgued belt yet, so i assumed belt had jumped.that was not the case. the next thing i checked was fire at plugs.all plugs have good spark.
• That info would have been good know earlier, especially part about the spark at the plugs.

i have worked on american cars all my life, im 59.i have rebuilt, and restored 1968 corvette,1962 impala, and 1969 charger. i am 100% 321 code was not on car untill starting promblem 4 months ago. so your telling me the green/red wire to starter, means someone has already done wiring to starter from csv.?
• I have worked on Volvos quite a long time too, including a V8 swap at 66. I'm 81 now, and have the printed Cold Start TSB in front of me. Your wiring says the TSB was applied. Can't explain why no 3-2-1 code till 4 months ago, but it confirms that TSB was applied. So the CSV should not be causing the flooding. But if you suspect it, then test it by pulling the plug and watching for fuel output when cranking. What else can I say? All I can do is ask about other known causes of excess fuel (like no spark or spark at the wrong time).

another post on here says volvo can zap computer after wiring starter,so 321 code does not come up, maybe this is the case, i dont know. thank you so much for your help!
• Somebody has their facts wrong, as often happens here. The Bendix ECU can be flashed — but it's not mentioned in the Cold Start TSB or in the green book procedures for over-rich mixture. Guess I haven't helped much, but I try.
