I may tackle my long-delayed dashboard project this winter which would include a rehab of my speedometer. I gave PaloAltoSpeedo a call and was surprised to hear they no longer refurbish these units. (They'll fix if broken (mine isn't) but won't refinish the dial / face / plastic etc). Looking for either of the following:

1) A recommendation of a reliable shop that does quality work and a reasonable turn around, or

2) A lead to month / year of publication of the Swedish PV club article that detailed the restoration of these units.
