Update 700

As with all things, check the basics first. Whenever you get the unlikely instance of a Volvo OVER charging, check the voltmeter against a known good charging system.

Once had my "travel" multimeter show 15 Volts on my BMW airhead motorcycle...at idle. If that were true, I would have final found and tamed a unicorn. Checked it against my wife's Protege and showed about 17 volts. This is when I found out my analog multimeter had an adjustment screw (actually, two)!
