Looking for a source of trim clips . . . 120-130

Hello,

It turns out the Volvo 122 B18 and Volvo 122 B20 parts catalogs are not 100% clear about the usage of the plastic clips to retain the narrow trim moldings on the door and under the 1/4 window on 2 door Volvo 122 (P130).

Even though the Volvo 122 B18 catalog suggests that the plastic clip can replace the metal clip, it is physically impossible as the plastic is too large to fit the original narrow side trim moldings.

What appears to have happened is Volvo changed the shape of the narrow side trim moldings for the P130 starting in 1969 and Volvo did not change the part numbers.

We have a 1969 in our shop for a partial restoration and I compared the moldings and they are definitely shaped differently.

The trim from the 1969 still has some of the plastic clips attached.

So 1962-1968 P130 need the metal clips if they have their original trim moldings and 1969-1970 need the plastic clips.
