Building an oil-tight engine 140-160

Hello,

As George said, the front neoprene seal is quite common, unless you have an early IPD modified timing cover as they used a different neoprene seal.

Is your front cover already machined to accept a neoprene seal?

Volvo still has all the gaskets and seals available.

And we usually have all them in stock.

Do you have the other engine seals and gaskets like the distributor base gasket, distributor shaft "D" shaped sealing ring or the breather box seal?

What PCV system are you using?

B20 engines did not come with PCV valves, but a PCV ported fitting, which we prefer as there are no moving parts.

If you have the ported fitting, the breather box flame trap is important, so make sure it is all there and clear or replace it.
