Suddenly stop accelarating. 700 1987

In neutral the engine is fine, Its just when i accel. That it "bog down" " dies".
As long as I don't accel the engine it will remain on. Non turbo. Transmission is fine.
Throttle cable is fine. Recent tuned up. Mass flow meter fine.
