240 CEL Reset

I've been searching the forums on hehalf of a buddy of mine who has
a 91 240 DL with the Check Engine Light on.
I used to use the jumper on my 850T to reset the CEL, (something like 4 shots of 151 Rum) but don't know what sequence to use on a 240.
Is there a guide on this site? If so, a link?
