Ding ding ding... we have a winner? 140-160

Overdrive indeed... in the diagram, there is a 1.5mm (14-ish gauge) yellow wire running from the switch at the steering column to the OD lockout switch on the gearbox. Clearly explains the grunginess of the connector. BTW this wire appears to have been extant even if the car was not OD-equipped.

I'd crawl under my M40-equipped '73 and take a look, but unfortunately I sold the car a short time ago... in 1984. :)
