Since the S40 is a FRONT-wheel drive car, you should post your question on the FWD/AWD forum.
We mostly deal with oldtimers here.
But as an S60 owner also, I would suggest you take this up with the dealer you bought the car from. In spite of the fact that he has not been able to replicate the problem, it is still there and it should be his responsibility. Stay on him!
