Hi,

I had a problem with the manual window sagging a little, but it was due to the large rivet in the middle of the scissor mechanism.

On half of the mechanism the hole was worn a little (it's originally a rectangular hole) or was it half the rivet that was worn? Either way, it was worn enough that there was a fair amount of play in the middle of the mechanism. I thought it would be a waste of time trying to repair it but somehow by using Automotive Goop it magically fixed the problem and it's been holding for around 2 years now.

I have since got a spare used mechanism off Ebay just in case.
