Old cars, like new ones, were made to be driven... I will admit, I'm not so fond of the bad driving conditions in an older car, but she does fine.

And yeah, that box is on the tall side. But it fits a lot of stuff. And cheap, a craigslist bargain. ES is great, being a wagon... but with two dogs, there really isn't a whole lot of room in them cars. It does pull the car around a little bit more in strong crosswinds, but not much. Otherwise, no difference in driveability.

And thus far, it's seemingly water tight... moreso than the car itself :)
