Okay.. so it's not an urgent problem.

But, the speedometer died. And the odometer.

Figuring it's the cable, but could be the right angle drive.

Reason it's a problem though... it broke at about 6000 miles into the trip. That's not a huge deal.

Real problem is that it died when the car was showing it's total original mileage of 99,380 or so. Less than 700 miles from the elusive 100k mark.

Got it zeroed down to within 10 miles of where it broke (just south of Birmingham, AL), and.. with GPS and Google, I'll be able to extrapolate just when it hits that milestone.

But a bummer none the less.
