Thanks. Digging around I found a spare steering box, (wish I could remember it's provenance?!), so I'm going to swap that in tomorrow and then have a look at the leaking one. Do you remember what the machine shop work set you back (R&R bushings + ream for shaft)? Couldn't find a seal locally yesterday, so now can have a better look at things, and with the box off the car start looking for a kit.
