There is a great deal of info in the FAQ - including how to rebuild the switches - the most likely culprits.
I took all my switches out, cleaned and burnished the contacts, reversed the contact bars (the side that puts the window up takes the most beating) and put them all back in about 90 minutes. I had a couple of doors apart before.
Beware of losing springs and little balls in the switches.
Each switch in the master switch has a key on one corner to allow it to fit in only one position.
When my nephew had a bad driver's window switch (bar broken) - I took the switch from his left rear door, cut the key off, and put it in place of the bad switch. He could still control the rear window from the master switch.
Read the FAQ.
