I also have this problem. Fixing it, temporarily, usually involves me beating the dash board into submission. I have learned to deal with it but my speedometer works so i've never been to concerned about a permanent fix, though it would be nice.

Does you guys tach act up more when it is colder outside? That is the case for me.
