Best place to start for no working headlights on a 220? 120-130

it was a dark and stormy night...

Not joking. Major snow storm, heading home after a family Christmas gathering...

Headlights went out when I hit the dimmer switch, and did not come back on..

Grabbed a couple straight pins from newly acquired clothing and stuck the pins through the wires leading to the dimmer switch to make the connection.

It got me home...
