240 ignition issue

It's getting to that time of year when cold starting issues pop up for sure. A couple of things to check: First, once the car finally starts, does it run rough? Smell the exhaust, rich? Smells of gas? Finally, after one of these instances, pull a spark plug or two and see if they are gas fouled. If any or all of these apply, there is a good chance your engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT) is bad. It's strategically hidden under the #3 intake runner and is difficult to get out--plan on breaking the top of the sensor on the way out. I recommend a genuine Bosch sensor. Check inside the plug with care to make certain the contacts are properly secured in the receptacle.

A big vacuum leak can also cause the engine management system to dump a whole bunch of fuel into the system. Look for broken hoses including around the constant idle valve under the intake on the support bracket. Check your black, plastic intake bellows for cracks/breaks.
