Hello,

According to the Volvo green book manuals, the windshield trim is installed after the windshield is installed.

FYI, the windshield trims are only that, trims, and windshield seals that do not accept trims for both 544/P210 and 122 were available as an original Volvo option.

On some older cars and trucks that use rubber seals, there is a locking bead and that is also installed after the windshield is installed.
