It's not the fuses. Being the Volvo driver I am, I'm trained to check that first....in most situations, but given that the switch was so loose and rotating around fully, I could tell that it wasn't a fuse and also, the switch had done this before. Someone noted that the red wire connects directly to the battery. I am anxious to find out if the fact that I had my battery replaced just yesterday would have cause this?? Could this wire have gotten disconnected during the install? if so, will my husband and I be able to even fix it??
We are NOT mechanically inclined. we were only able to fix the switch the first time thanks to some really super helpful people on here who literally walked us through how to do it.
