The pin numbers on relays do have meanings. Here's a chart explaining what they mean:

I haven't tried the interchange and I can't say with any certainty that it can't be done (heck, nearly anything can be done if you've got enough will) but I can say that if the pin numbers are not the same then you'll have to do some thinking to adapt the one to the other.

Reminder: brand-new 140 headlight relays are now readily available and not particularly expensive.
