How to replace ignition switch 700

I would look at the possibility of removing the cluster to access the switch.
With the cluster out you won't have to stand on your head under the driver's dash.

The switch is mounted on the extreme rear of the ignition assembly. I think I remember it being held in place with two relatively small screws that are accessed after unplugging the harness.

You don't want to deal with the steering lock/security assembly.
