Diagnose Central Lock Problem 200 1989

Thanks Art. I've seen your great CL related photos in the archives. The car
has the stock CL system. Is there any way the inside knob could malfunction
so the driver's door couldn't be unlocked and opened from the inside? Maybe there's a compound linkage/electrical problem, or I might be having a communication problem with her. Would not be my first communication problem.
