Hi,

It's mostly due to failure with a lot of their rubber parts. But keep in mind you can stick a lot of other aftermarket companies in the junk rubber category also-URO, MTC, etc.

Most people don't have a problem with their springs.

I have bought Scantech lug nuts, brake hardware, and wiper motor and I haven't had a problem with any of that. The Scantech wiper motor has been in my wife's 92 245 since 12/2009.
