washer fluid hoses 700 1987

I have an 87 740 GLE and the washer fluid was spraying minimally, then not at all. I went digging to diagnose the problem and when I got to the pump i noticed that there was a "T" connection with three hoses from the pump outlet. One hose comes from the pump, one hose goes to the windshield nozzles and the third hose wasn't connected to anything on the other end. (or I accidentally disconnected it). does anyone know where it should be connected to? as it is, it just sprays fluid on all the components under the hood, and reduces the pressure to the nozzles (which are no longer a concern, as they just needed a good cleaning/replacement). what other component would need washer fluid?
