Vent Window seal 444-544

I took the vent window frame completely apart to have it re-plated. The two stumbling points I ran into are:

Use an air hammer with a skinny flat bit to flatten the rivets against a solid metal surface (I used a vice). This is how Boeing does it, and it works great.

Seal between the actual vent window glass and the thin chrome frame is a generic seal available from any auto glass shop.

Other than that, it went pretty well. I suppose you could try to flatten the rivets with a hammer, c-clamp, etc, or just use a screw with a nyloc nut.

Good luck!
