Chugging, sputtering, and dying =(

She only does this when driving long distances then hitting lovely Austin traffic. The first time i was coming back from Hamilton Pool, about and hour drive, and getting stuck on 620 with bumper to bumper traffic for like thirty minutes before she started chugging, almost like she was sucking air. When ever i tried to accelerate nothing, then i'd let of f and she slug forward an inch. Then she just died. Let her rest after about thirty minutes she made it home. Didn't have anymore issues. Month later i drove toSan Antonio, no issues and no traffic. On the way back she drove great for Ann hour then i came into Austin and hit IH-35 traffic and she did it all over again. Managed to coax her onto a side street, let her rest for Ann hour and she made it home with minimum issues.. She does have Assn oil leak, mainly because the house that goes in the tip of the engine is crimped and coming off at the base, and the original owner gave me a fuel filter kit in the trunk. But my friend said on the phone that it sounded like a cracked block or warping head. And when i dover her to work this morning she was chugging only in first gear. I know i need to fix the house and fuel stuff, but i just got a job. Just needing opinions and feedback on what could be the culprit so i can tackle it first.
