Weber manifold for a 164 140-160

Uncle JohnH,

Used on craigslist here (http://spokane.craigslist.org/boa/3786083005.html) in Butte, MT.

Buyer beware, of course.

Volvo 6 Cylinder engines B30 and Volvo Penta marine versions AQ 160, 165, 170.

Volvo Penta made these tri-carb intake for B30 for marine use. The seller here seems to have part of a carb kit to fit it. I'm unsure.

Verify, as applicable, water jacket hole align, if they exist, between the cylinder head and Penta intake manifold. You may have some interference between the Penta B30 AQ 170 intake manifold and the B30 exhaust manifold around the bolting bits.

I think variations exist whether triple down- or side-draft carbs. I forget what way Weber goes.

Else, maybe you can find new or a triple car intake from another 164 B30.

Try http://www.craigslist.org/about/sites and see sites under Oceania section.

Try the brickboard classifieds (http://www.brickboard.com/CLASSADS/), the iPd classifieds (http://www.ipdusa.com/classifieds.asp), Turbobricks.com classifieds (need account to view), and the several Volvo 164-specific clubs on the i-net.

Their may also be a triple carb B30 intake that is unified with the exhaust manifold. I saw it once a long time ago.

Ebay?

Maybe Uncle Walrus3 could chime in for ideas? He's is one of the 164 experts around here!

Questions?

Hope that helps!

Duff.
