Help Adjusting A/C Pressure Switch w/ Variable Orifice Valve?

1989 740

I just retrofitted my 740 w/ R-134, including new compressor, Accumulator, hoses, condenser, Adjustable R-134 pressure switch, and a Variable Orifice Switch.

System appears to work OK (Phew), but the compressor does NOT cycle, but stays running all of the time.

The center panel discharge temp gets down to 36-38 degrees at 85 deg OAT and I am concerned the evaporator will freeze up.

I couldn't find anything about adjusting the pressure switch mounted on the Accumulator on the Forum.

I suspect that the VOV (Variable Orifice Valve) requires a different pressure setting than a Fixed Orifice Valve, but not sure which way to adjust (Clock-wise, or 'in' for higher cut-out I suspect?).

Anyone?
