Second this. For mine, I removed the return line, pointed it into a container and flushed it until I had nice clean fluid (red ATF for its anti-foaming and less hideous cleanup). It helped with turning and noise. I did enventually replace the pump, but only because the bracket (flawed design) wore and the front pulley bushing was damaged.
1) Check the level of the fluid
2) Check the pump and make sure it cannot move laterally (side to side along the belt path. If it can, the bracket may be shot)
3) Flush/refill the fluid
