The link shows he was working on a front brake drum. Skandix (or whatever their name is) lists replacement assemblies (drum, hub, studs) for both front & rear, and also drums alone, but they come at a premium. The front drums on a PV have a larger center hole than the rear - sorry, don't have dimensions handy. PVs use 9" drums & 2" wide shoes; I think the Ranger uses 1 1/2" shoes. I did some research on this recently & believe 60's vintage Ramblers used 9" x 2" brakes with the same bolt pattern as a PV, and continued using them up to the mid 80's AMC Concord. But I IIRC the center hole would still need to be enlarged to fit a PV hub, and the stud holes would also most likely need to be opened up to 5/8". Someday I will pursue this further when I get caught up with other projects.
