indicator switch and heater tap 120-130 1967

The turn signal switch has mechanical parts that do wear over time.

So a good used switch or buying a new one is the usual solution.

Your heater valve problem sounds like a heater cable problem.

You will probably find that you can manually shut the valve off by moving the lever on the valve directly.

You might have to remove the cable loop from the lever to get the valve to close completely.
